” Since I started with REED I have had 5 promotions, progression opportunities, strong management training and courses. “
Philip McSweeney, Area Manager
” At REED, I have always felt that my work is appreciated and rewarded. During my 5+ years’ service, I have progressed from Researcher to a Business Manager. “
Lilli Dalos, Business Manager
” I used to be a client of REED and they came across so well, that I thought ‘I would like to do this’, and I have never looked back. “
Bukola Odofin, Area Manager
I was attracted to REED by the idea of being able to venture out into different departments and explore different opportunities within the company. My skillset has notably developed and as a Resourcer, my people skills in particular have soared; every day I am engaging with candidates, understanding what they are looking for in their next role and then speaking to them about roles that match their requirements. The best thing about working at REED for me are the opportunities, progression and support – I have always been looked after, appreciated and valued as a member of the team. I look forward to waking up every day and coming to work!
To me, the REED brand means family – it’s a family run business, and it’s run like a family. REED will always put their Co-Members first in whatever they do. For me, I’m rewarded through working in a friendly and engaging environment as well as the fantastic discounts, benefits and awards they offer. Everyone is really down to earth, but we all believe in the service we offer and the brand we uphold – it’s great to be working with like-minded people towards the same goal.
Despite being a UK-based company, REED manages to keep a personal approach towards all of its Co-Members internationally. This means we have great teamwork, caring managers, a transparent career ladder and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Not only is the progression great, but I am lucky enough to work in a fantastic team with people I can call friends. With regular team-building activities, we are provided with the chance to constantly learn each other’s strengths and build on our own skillset which I think is invaluable.
Having started as a Consultant just over a year ago, I was quickly promoted to Manager. I have a fantastic team and a great support network around me to help me fill any knowledge gaps. REED has a very professional working environment with a noticeable presence of togetherness within the business. If you are looking for a long term career that will give you all the tools you need to succeed and a great work life balance, then look no further than REED! There is so much scope to develop yourself with a wide range of opportunities at your fingertips. Plus, you would be working for the UK’s No.1 Recruiter, which has endless positives!
The key factor that tempted me to join REED was the opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow a region from a challenging position. I joined REED as an Area Manager from a competitor covering 4 branches across the South West and after a successful first year, I was promoted to Regional Manager taking on a couple of new branches in the Midlands. Personal recognition throughout the time I have been working with REED has come from many different people both at a local and national level. I love that such a large business acknowledges and rewards growth like REED do. My Manager has supported me in creating a new strategy, a clearer focus and in recruiting new team members, but I have had the autonomy to choose our direction and how we will get there.
