The Financial Times has released its second annual Diversity Leaders ranking, which focuses on areas of inclusivity such as: gender, age, ethnicity, disability and sexual orientation.

Reed ranked 208th in Europe on the published list of 850 companies, 61st in the UK (2nd in our industry).

“The survey of more than 100,000 employees from 15,000 companies, conducted by our research partner Statista, assesses employees’ perception of companies’ inclusiveness or efforts to promote various aspects of diversity. These include gender balance, openness to all forms of sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, disability and age.”

Committed to Inclusion & Belonging

Reed have always promoted equal opportunities and being an inclusive and diverse workplace.

In 2019 we launched our new Inclusion Strategy to make sure our actions align with our visions and goals as a business and employer.

Inclusion training forms a big part of that strategy, along with creating new opportunities for under-represented groups in the business to have their voices heard, and we are continually reviewing our policies and procedures to ensure co-members who hold Protected Characteristics (under the Equality Act 2010) receive the support they need.
