Account Director

Reed Talent Solutions have just won a re-tender and contract expansion for our Flagship Staff Bank contract with Imperial College NHS Trust, incorporating St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals. The Staff Bank incorporates the supply of Nurses, Allied Health Professionals (AHP), non-medical, non-clinical (Admin and Professional), Doctors alongside permanent recruitment services. We are looking to recruit for multiple new roles to join the existing team, including an Account Director to oversee the contractual management and strategic relationship with the client.

Salary: £54,000 – £69,000 dependent on experience, (including £4,000 inner London weighting if based in central London), plus £3,000 car allowance or £2,000 travel allowance and up to £20,000 bonus earning potential
Base location:
In or around central London, or within a 1.5 hour commute from W2 1NY

Travel: You will be required to visit the client on-site at W6 8RF and W2 1NY around 2-3 days per week

The Role – What does the Account Director role look like?

The Staff Bank incorporates the supply of Nurses, Allied Health Professionals (AHP), non-medical, non-clinical (Admin and Professional), Doctors alongside permanent recruitment services. We are looking to recruit for multiple new roles to join the existing team, including an Account Director to oversee the contractual management and strategic relationship with the client.  

 

The Account Director is responsible for the effective operational management of a 9 strong Account Management team including Account Managers, Resourcing Business Partners and clinical HR and Training roles.  The team are responsible for engaging with Hiring Manager across the Trust alongside HR, to ensure recruitment best practices are followed, shift rota’s are efficiently managed and to effectively promote sign up of Substantive workers onto the Staff Bank. In addition they manage the concerns process, support the facilitation of medical training and bank worker engagement.

 

You will also be working closely with the Recruitment Operations Team to ensure that all contractual obligations are delivered, and that a high level of interaction with a variety of senior internal external stakeholders is maintained, and further developed. A core element of the role is identifying opportunities for service enhancements, development and innovation.

The Person – What makes a good Account Director?

 

We are ideally looking for someone with similar level of experience in NHS staff bank recruitment, but we would also like to speak with anyone who has experience of managing MSP/RPO contracts in the healthcare industry. You will need to have strong leadership and strategic account management experience within the recruitment industry. You will also need to be patient yet tenacious, a driven ‘go-getter’ and have excellent relationship building skills.
