We are currently looking for an experienced recruiter and Account Manager to support with 2 of our largest local authority MSP contracts at Lewisham and Islington.
The Role: Account Manager
Salary: £30,000 – £44,000 per annum + £2,300 – £3,500 travel/car allowance + up to £10,000 commission
Hours: Full Time, Permanent, Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours
Location: In and around London – travel to the clients onsite in Lewisham and Islington is required
The role of the Account Manager is to assume responsibility for the management of a team made up of three Resourcing Business Partner in the delivery of an operational service to our important clients within the Council Sector – both in Islington and Lewisham.
The intent is both to generate a profitable income stream for Reed Group as well as fulfil a strategically defensive role to protect the footprint of Reed in the marketplace.
The Account Manager will be involved in:
- High percentage of ‘face time ‘is spent with the client onsite
- Ensuring the team deliver the resources based on the clients requirements and SLA’s
- Regular reviews with the client in terms of performance and client satisfaction
- Ensuring the client’s line managers are supported and guided in compliance with agreed contractual processes
- To drive business growth by way of increased fill rates, and that opportunities for growth are identified
- Promote other REED products and services
- To encourage and drive income for the business
- Building longstanding relationships with the clients
- Supporting, managing, coaching and guiding your team
The role will require time to be spent onsite at both clients, you will be managing a team remotely as they are often based on site or in a difference office/from home. Both accounts also benefit from support within the MSP function in Northampton, therefore part of the role will be to work with the management team in Northampton to ensure that the deliver in terms of recruitment and service levels for both Lewisham and Islington clients.
Who would make a good Account Manager?
We are ideally looking for candidates with recruitment and account management experience especially managing volume and specialist recruitment in an outsourced capacity Recruitment experience is required and ideally managing volume or specialist recruitment in an outsourced capacity. It would be advantageous for candidates to have experience managing multiple contracts/clients and some onsite experience (outside of the industrial sector). You should have experience of supply chain management, along with the desire and experience to drive and motivate a team remotely.
