Salary: £24,000 plus £4,000 inner London weighting plus bonus earning potential of around £1,000 – £4,000 per annum

What is the role of a Bid Writer for Reed:

Reed Talent Solutions are looking for a Bid Writer to join their established bid team based from one of our main offices in Victoria,London. This is an exciting opportunity to develop strategic relationships with senior members of our office network and build an extensive knowledge of Reed’s practices.

 

You will be supporting the business development teams throughout the proposal process by creating engaging graphics and presentations that support the sales messages. Also critiquing and challenging sales messages that are provided by the sales lead and drawing on the experience you will gain across the range of Reed services.

 

You will be working collaboratively with legal,finance and other parts of the business to collate relevant information,then creating an accessible library of information to create compelling proposals. You will also ensure all relevant corporate and financial information is kept up-to-date,as well as contributing information to proposals at different stages of the process,from PQQs to RFIs and ITTs,then working with wider parts of the business on post decision reviews.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have been educated to degree level or equivalent,within an associated sector,for example,English Language,History,Psychology,Journalism or any other Humanities degree.

We would also be very interested in speaking to anyone with experience in contributing to tenders and managing the process through to completion or someone who has some experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

You will need to have strong verbal and written communications skills,be confidence in interacting with internal stakeholders and clients,and making recommendations,have the ability to prioritise and work to multiple deadlines and have knowledge across Microsoft products including Word,PowerPoint,Excel and Visio.
