Business Development Executive

Consultancy+ are Reed’s Professional Services and Consultancy Business. We are looking for a Business Development Executive responsible for generating and managing a pipeline of new business leads from initial introduction through to contract completion.

Company:        Reed Specialist Recruitment – Consultancy +

Salary: £21,000 – £30 per annum plus £4,000 inner London weighting

Bonus scheme: 5% of all Net Income from any new account for first 12 months of the service going live (paid quarterly). OTE would be £10-15k bonus per annum but with a realistic chance of going well beyond that. Capped at £10k bonus pay-out per quarter

Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm

What the role looks like:

 

Consultancy+ are Reed’s Professional Services and Consultancy Business. We deliver projects across IT,Transformation & Change,Finance,Remediation,Care and HR across both the public and private sector. We currently have a broad range of clients and are delivering between 20 and 30 projects of varying size at any one time.

 

What we are looking for a Business Development Executive who will be responsible for generating and managing a pipeline of new business leads from initial introduction through to contract completion for our services procurement solution. This is a strategic consultancy offering that looks to support clients in procuring and managing their professional services spend. 

 

The role will involve developing a list of target clients within the public and private sector,understanding and developing the services procurement product and upskilling the wider sales team in this product to encourage leads,working with our framework partners to develop the product offering,working with our Programme Management Office (PMO) to manage the transfer of services from the sales process through to the delivery process and on-going management of customer relationships to maximise the contract opportunity.

 

Who makes a good Business Development Executive for REED?

 

We are looking for someone with previous sales experience that is hungry to progress take ownership of a rapidly emerging market within the consultancy services space. You will either have experience of selling services or have experience of sales within RPO/MSP recruitment,sales in a consultancy/project based business. You also might have a recruitment background that recruits for into a professional market (e.g. change,finance or technology).

 

In essence you will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to drive sales,generate leads,work towards targets and have the drive,hunger and passion to success.
