Business Development Manager

Reed Are looking for a Business Development Manager to proactively sell Reed’s solutions into the NHS.

Location: The Midlands to the North of the UK (We are completely flexible to locations such as Birmingham,Leicester,Nottingham,Derby,Stafford,Chester,Manchester,Sheffield,Lincoln,York,Wakefield or Leeds for example)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 basic dependent on experience,plus £3,500 car allowance,plus up to double your basic in bonus earning potential 
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week plus a 1 hour lunch break

What does the Business Development Manager role look like?

As a Business Development Manager for REED you will be 100% client focused and you will play an important part in helping Reed Specialist Recruitment (RSR) to achieve its growth targets through delivering new business. You will be identifying and winning new corporate accounts,initially focussing on Preferred Supplier List (PSL) business and Sole / Lead Supplier contracts,and in time progressing to more complex and high profile outsourcing solutions for Reed Talent Solutions. You will work across the Reed Specialist Recruitment divisions,delivering significant and profitable new business wins within the NHS.

Work includes responding to formal tender processes and developing bespoke proposals. Using your networking and research skills,you will ensure that you are seen as an expert in various markets both by clients and within the Reed branch network.

You will become part of a well-established business development team who have been going from strength to strength in the recruitment marketplace. Within your role you will benefit from annual development reviews and as a business we have a big culture on promoting from within,meaning you will have every chance to grow and developed with Reed.

Who makes a good Business Development Manager for REED?
