As our REED office in Prague expands and opens up new market areas – we are always on the look-out for talented people with entrepreneurial flair,commercial awareness and business development skills. We require an experienced business manager to join us im managing our brand new team in central Prague!
Manage direct reports’ performance in order to increase productivity and profitability.
Provide the team with the necessary resources to increase effectiveness and potential to grow revenue.
Analyse financial data in order to identify potential opportunities and threats internally and externally and to
effectively apply available resources where needed to increase profitability.
Develop strategic and tactical plans to ensure the commercial success of the office.
Continuously monitor service delivery to clients and candidates ensuring that it adheres to the high standards
prescribed by REED and your line manager.
Recruit,retain,manage,motivate and develop the team:
Actively assist the Internal Recruitment Team in recruiting high calibre Recruitment Consultants.
Be committed to filling vacant positions quickly and effectively with highly motivated,high performing Co-Members.
Effectively manage the team by setting realistic,achievable and timely targets in line with organisational objectives
Establish team targets and objectives for the team and communicate these effectively,ensuring that they are
Build a performance-focused culture through the use of the career and performance management framework.
Take ownership for the development and training of the team to meet the needs of individuals and organisational
succession plans,encouraging them to attend relevant training events.
Undertake activities such as coaching,performance management,1 to 1s and disciplinary interviews as appropriate.
Motivate staff during difficult times to keep retention and morale high and maintain productivity.
Act as the first escalation point,for all issues relating to team members,clients and candidates.
Control office costs whilst ensuring that the team have access to the tools and systems required for them to be
effective in their roles.
Manage and process high volumes of data to identify how the office is performing against financial and
Translate financial data into operationally functional reports to be used in feedback to Senior Managers.
Produce monthly management information reports regarding the status of the office against targets.
Organise information into easily accessible and maintainable formats.
Develop and harness a culture of continual improvement in relation to performance,systems,processes and
procedures within the team.
Deliver change programmes and take action to achieve team buy-in to these.
Ensure that the needs of individual and teams are represented within change programmes.
Work closely with Senior Managers and other Business Managers to find new and improved ways of meeting the
needs of clients,including identifying new service offerings.
Monitor,analyse and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of processes for all client organisations.
Identify and champion improvements to deliver increased service excellence and profitability for REED.
Take action to implement change initiatives and programmes,selling the benefits of the new way of working to
stakeholders across internal teams and client organisations.
Develop business opportunities with your team,through targeted cold calling,attending sales meetings,sales
presentations,organisational visits and networking events.
Win new business through adopting innovative and creative approaches to selling REED that makes us stand out
from the competitors.
Grow business by exploring potential opportunities and selling additional recruitment solutions within the existing
Create business opportunities through the team’s proactive marketing of candidates including spec calls.
Attend client meetings to support team members in servicing and seeking existing and new business.
Foster and develop close working relationships with clients to identify current and future business needs.
Ensure the team understand client requirements in full,to maximise success of candidates introduced.
Ensure the team demonstrate the necessary understanding of the recruitment processes and timescales to
successfully manage client expectations.
Understand the processes,procedures and requirements of clients’ internal recruitment systems.
Deliver a world-class service that exceeds the expectations of all clients.
Ensure the team utilise marketing materials to attract new candidates to register with REED.
Create an environment that encourages working with urgency,to ensure opportunities are filled to agreed timescales.
Ensure that all data relevant to the recruitment process is accurately recorded using internal databases.
Monitor and manage the team to follow all processes and procedures to meet legislative and internal quality requirements.
The successful candidate will have previous leadership experience within a recruitment agency.
You will have worked to KPIs in order to drive performance and productivity.
Working as a technology or engineering recruiter is desirable although not a necessity.
