Business Manager

Are you an existing Manager either looking to step into the Technology sector / relocate to Bristol / take on a bigger team within a thriving Tech sector / A Senior/Experienced Consultant looking to take your first step into a Management Role?

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for the right person to step into the role of Business Manager covering Mat Leave where you will manage an existing team of 3 Perm Consultants within the Infrastructure Practice part of Bristol Technology. Plans in H2 are to continue to grow income in line with Budgets plus add an additional 1 / 2 Consultant into the team by the end of the year.

Of the 3 current Consultants 2 are Senior with 3 and 4 years experience respectively and 1 is a new starter. Team income is currently £180k MAT plus forward written business of another circa £22K

If you are not completely comfortable about Tech Recruitment or Tech jargon don’t worry, the role is very much a learn on the job. The great thing about recruiting in Tech is working with Tech people who are all passionate about what they do.

You will be expected to drive team and individual performance to achieve stretching Budgets. You will undertake full responsibility for management duties and responsibilities such as Sales Meetings, Conducting Monthly Reviews, Daily Stand Ups, Business Development, Training and Coaching sessions and working closely with other Practices across the team. You will be expected to achieve challenging financial targets and also contribute individual billings to the overall team.
