Reed Professional Services are a leading provider of project consultancy and technology services.  We are looking for a talented and motivated “Business Support Executive” who is looking for a new challenge being part of a small yet busy team to deliver high quality customer support, both internal and external to the organisation.   

At Reed PS we develop partnerships with our clients to provide clear solutions, drawing on our expertise and knowledge to provide services that our partners rely on. 

Reporting to the Business Support Team Leader, the successful candidate will be based in our central Manchester office, and will work alongside our larger team based in Central London. 

What will you be doing? 

  • To manage the day to day queries and be a point of contact for contractors to ensure they experience a positive impression of working through Reed PS.  
  • Checking and processing of Associate Expenses 
  • Financial queries including but not limited to VAT, adjustments & manual invoices 
  • Complex bookings and or transferring of bookings to ensure all payments have clear audit trail  
  • To liaise with colleagues and key client contacts on escalation points of queries where necessary 
  • Delivering accurate and organised contract support to our contractor/associate base 
  • Providing associate support, point of contact for all contract and timesheet queries 
  • Responsibility for maintenance of Contractor and Supplier records to ensure data accuracy  
  • Production of new associate contracts, extensions and Screening Monitoring  
  • Timesheet & Eligibility to Work (ETW) management 
     

What are we looking for? 

  • Excellent communicator and effective facilitator 
  • Ability to plan and prioritise and work to deadlines 
  • Business support experience desirable but not necessary 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Demonstrable capacity to adapt to changing situations
  • Willingness to learn new skills and think laterally
  • Strong IT Skills (MS Office Suite) 

Additional Skills

•           Minimum of Grade C or above in both Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent

•           Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
