Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a talented PL/SQL developer to join its successful and experienced in house team. You will work on a blend of new developments,existing system enhancements and maintenance of existing systems. With a robust understanding of Oracle PL/SQL and proprietary technologies,you will be able to work independently and competently. You will also gain,or further develop,your skills in Oracle OBIEE Data warehouse,and Oracle Ebusiness Suite (Financials and Payroll – we run one of the country’s largest Oracle Payroll systems).

The candidate skills & experience:

Must Have

  • PL/SQL skills including stored procedures,packages,triggers
  • Good database design principles (normalisation and indexing)
  • Good SQL skills; e.g. complex queries and merge statements
  • Good optimisation skills using relevant tools
  • Oracle object types
  • SQL Developer and SQL*Plus
  • External tables 

Desirable

  • ETL / data warehouse design
  • OBIEE
  • PowerBuilder
  • Snowflake and/or PowerBI
