Executive Assistant to the Regional Managing Director 
Full Time, Permanent 
Ipswich 

A diverse and exciting opportunity, supporting the Regional Managing Director in running their region.  No two days would be the same, due to the variety of tasks and the exciting nature of the industry in which you would be working.  This is the perfect job for someone who thrives on being busy and being part of a large and successful team. 

The key responsibilities of an EA are to provide a high quality of support to both the Regional Managing Director and wider business. This includes: 

 

  • Supporting the Regional Managing Director with diary & email management, maintaining HR records (holiday, sickness, etc.) for their team, scheduling internal meetings & conference calls, scheduling external client meetings, typing of daily correspondence, etc. 

  • Collating management and team information and produce accurate and timely management reports/communications on behalf of the Divisional Director & management team as directed 

  • Responding to queries from clients, candidates, Co-Members and external parties 

  • Evaluating the processes used by the team and identifying ways in which systems may be made more effective and efficient 

  • Ad-hoc project work, as and when needed  

  • Creating sales competitions 

 

What makes a good Executive Assistant?  
 
The ideal candidate will be self-confident and tenacious with the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working under pressure. You must have an eye for detail with excellent organisational skills, including the capability to multi-task and prioritise. Your communication skills must be exemplary with the professionalism to deal with clients, directors and the handling of sensitive people-related issues on a daily basis. Your discretion is vital to this role due to the level of confidential information you will have access to. 
 
You must also possess excellent Word and PowerPoint skills and intermediate Excel skills, whilst you must be highly literate with strong numerical skills as some analytical work will be involved.
