We’re looking for a talented,enthusiastic and motivated Junior Product Owner who wants to play an integral part in shaping the future of our Courses marketplace.

As a Junior Product Owner,you’ll support the Product Owner in delivering against the Reed Courses product roadmap,contributing to create products that drive customer adoption and engagement and ultimately business growth. You’ll own and deliver your part of the roadmap and together with your delivery team,you’ll produce high quality,great products.

We operate in an agile environment so we understand that ideas start small and need time to grow and develop,we create an environment that allows this to happen in an iterative way.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into our Product Owner,you will work within the Courses Product team to deliver great products.

  • Research and learn to gain a deep understanding of the customer,competitive landscape & products,legislation,and future industry technological developments;

  • Work with the Product Owner team to devise innovative product ideas & plans to create a commercially valuable product that is ahead of the competition;  

  • Champion both customer and business feedback,using both sources to drive continuous innovation;

  • Continually hypothesise and test to increase performance and maximise customer value;

  • Own your part of the roadmap and backlog,ensuring the delivery team is focused on the highest priorities,whilst giving support and maintenance for your product;

  • Gather,interpret KPIs and customer feedback to provide input and challenge to plans;

  • Accurately assesses and effectively communicate the impact of product and metric change of your product to stakeholders at all levels.

Skills and Experience 

  • Encourages innovative thinking and collaborative team working across stakeholders to passionately drive activities that enable the achievement of a brilliant customer experience

  • Highly analytical and has the ability to use data to understand key business drivers and to underpin strategic and tactical decision making

  • Builds effective relationships and is flexible and collaborative in approach

  • A passion for problem solving and critical thinking

  • Experience with a digital product-based company desirable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication,with an ability to document processes

  • Has a real passion for technology,innovation and a keen interest in our recruitment products!

Key Measures and Targets

  • Site key performance indicators e.g. conversion rates,bounce rate etc

  • Objectives and Key Results achieved against plan
