Marketing Executive

REED are looking for a Marketing Executive to join their established team in Northampton

Overview

This is your opportunity to work as a marketing executive, executing demand generation campaigns for Reed Specialist Recruitment (RSR) – the UK’s #1 recruitment business.

Your focus will be on delivering marketing campaigns that support business and marketing objectives across the sectors in which RSR operates. You will be involved in every stage of the process, from planning through to measurement and reporting, making you an integral part in helping REED become first port of call for those with recruitment needs.

You will need to be able to gain a clear understanding of our target audiences, and how a range of digital marketing tactics can reach and engage them.

Key areas that you will work on include:

  • Digital marketing campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, Facebook) promoting our services and content (produced by our content marketing team)
  • Email marketing (including lead nurture)
  • Conversion rate optimisation (including website tactics, the creation of dedicated campaign landing pages, and integration across channels)
  • Customer experience – supporting the development and delivery of marketing activity that enhances the customer experience
  • Marketing reporting and analysis – supporting the collection and reporting of data and making recommendations for improvement (together with the marketing analyst)

 You will be:

  • Experienced in digital marketing
  • An excellent communicator, able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders of varying seniority
  • Keen to learn, with an appetite for delivering best in class digital marketing and customer experience

Essential experience:

  • Experience working on digital marketing campaigns (e.g. campaign planning, sourcing marketing materials, briefing agencies, campaign management, measurement and reporting)
  • Email marketing/CRM experience (e.g. planning email campaigns, email creative, reporting on results, etc.)
  • Website experience (e.g. updating and maintaining content via a CMS)
  • Experience managing stakeholders (understanding needs, delivering against objectives, updating on progress, etc.)

 Optional / beneficial:

  • Experience running paid advertising campaigns in-house (e.g. Google PPC, social media advertising)
  • Experience developing web pages (using e.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Experience supporting website strategy (e.g. involvement in a new website build or development projects)
  • Experience with marketing automation (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo)

Essential Knowledge

  • Understanding of concepts like demand generation, content marketing, conversion rate optimisation
  • Ability to research and understand key audiences
  • Ability to research and understand the competitive marketplace
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage projects

Optional / Beneficial:

  • Understanding of specific paid media channels
  • Understanding of website strategy

Qualifications

  • Degree educated (in a relevant subject)
  • Ideally holding or working towards a marketing qualification (e.g. CIM, IDM)
