PMO Analyst

Reed Talent Solutions are looking to expand their Consultancy+ division and bring on board a PMO Analyst.

Job Role: PMO Analyst

Company: Reed Talent Solutions – Consultancy+

Basic Salary: £18,000 – £27,000 dependent on experience plus £4,000 inner London weighting

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Contract: Full Time and Permanent

Location: Victoria,London or somewhere outside of London with weekly travel into the city


What is this role?

Consultancy+ are Reed’s Professional Services and Consultancy Business. We deliver projects across IT,Transformation & Change,Finance,Remediation,Care and HR across both the public and private sector. We currently have a broad range of clients and are delivering between 20 and 30 projects of varying size at any one time.

What we are looking for is someone to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) to help us deliver these projects. The PMO Analyst role will be focused on managing the delivery of our professional services and consultancy projects in both the private and public sector. The role will be highly diverse and require someone who is able to thrive in a fast paced environment,manage multiple things at once and can take ownership of improving the process along with driving professional excellence in the way in which we deliver our projects to clients.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a keen analytical eye that is looking to learn,happy to work in a varying fast paced environment and has an interest in a career in Consultancy and Professional Services. For the right candidate this role will offer the opportunity to learn the business from end-to-end. Starting with our PMO function supporting on the delivery of existing projects,working with clients to understand the requirement,engaging suitable consultants,producing management information and managing the invoicing and payment cycle,before developing to look at more client development and account management alongside our team of Principal Consultants.

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

  • Experience working in a fast paced and varied environment (such as a sales or project environment)
  • Capability to take ownership of a process from end-to-end and identify areas that can be improved and deliver those improvements
  • Identify areas of risk within a process or project and look to manage and mitigate those risks
  • Work effectively as part of a team whereby you are responsible for both your own area of focus but also the bigger picture supporting others in achieving the overall organisational goal
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Experience analysing data to identify trends
  • Project management experience (a benefit but not essential)
