A wonderful opportunity has arisen for the right person to step into the role of Practice Manage / Business Manager.
You will take on the responsibility of leading an existing team of up to 2 vertically lead Consultants within an IT Practice part of Reed, Bristol Technology. Plans are to continue to grow income in line with Budgets plus add an additional 2 Consultant into the team within the next 6-9 months.
The Bristol Tech Team currently have income of £1.2m over current YTD split between 3 Practices of which you will manage one.
If you are not completely comfortable about Tech Recruitment or Tech jargon don’t worry, the role is very much a learn on the job. The great thing about recruiting in Tech is working with Tech people who are all passionate about what they do. Candidates and Clients alike are more than happy to fill in the blanks and discuss skill sets, technologies or anything else IT. Alongside this, the existing Bristol Tech team include consultants and managers who have been recruiting in tech for 5+ years and are seasoned tech recruiters billing in excess of £300k+ so there are plenty of support and guidance at hand.

A bit about Bristol Technology
Bristol Tech was the winner of the recent Reed National end of year awards winning Top Income Growth Branch across RSR. Our sister Office, Cardiff Technology also won a similar award for the Income Growth for RSR! You will be joining a hugely successful and performing Tech Region with MAT income already 60% ahead of the same period last year!
Both Bristol & Cardiff Offices combined have income of £1.7m MAT and NIPC of £8k+ with 16 people strong.
The role is permanently based in Bristol so you will be expected to work from Bristol for 5 days a week. You will be expected to drive team and individual performance to achieve stretching budgets. You will undertake full responsibility for management duties and responsibilities such as Sales Meetings, Conducting Monthly Reviews, Daily Stand Ups, Business Development, Training and Coaching sessions and working closely with other Practices across the team. You will be expected to achieve challenging financial targets and also contribute and lead with your individual billings.
