Job Role – Resource Manager
Company – Reed Professional Services
Location – Cannon Street, London (the role will involve some working from home and some office based working in central London)
Salary – £33,000 – £37,000 per annum dependent on experience and location, plus around £8,000 per annum in bonus earning potential
Contract – Full Time and Permanent
Hours – 40 hours per week

Reed Professional Services is a Management Consultancy, technology services and outsourcing company specialising in IT, financial services and associated sectors. We specialise in partnership solutions, people skills and providing stability giving our clients a powerful solutions and focused approach.
We are looking for a Resource Manager who will provide consultancy, recruitment and relationship management support to the Delivery Managers, Managing Consultants & Managing/Associate Partners. Your role will be to ensure that resource requirements are fully understood and defined, so that the Talent Delivery Team (TDT) is briefed and will be able to go out and source suitable consultant/contractors to deliver projects. You will also ensure that quality, validated and best fit resource are engaged successfully into Reed Professional Services. Once the projects are live, the Resource Manager is a key point of contact for Consultant/Contractor issue resolution, whether it is contractual, commercial or HR-related.
Who would suit this role?
We are not only looking for an experienced recruiter, but someone who understands recruitment planning and strategising, can advise on different sourcing streams, can write job specs from scratch, can map out recruitment requirements in order to be able to deliver consultancy projects, can recruit at senior levels and someone who can understand complex business requirements. This is more than just a recruitment role and will involve project planning, consulting, and advising.
As a minimum we are looking for the following key skill sets:
Experience of Consultant/ Candidate Attraction and retention
Interviewing techniques including competency and enquiry based methods
Specialist Industry knowledge: IT roles & skills, other Consultancy roles & skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal) with strong attention to detail
Negotiation skills
Implementation of resource process and procedures
Management of performance objectives
