Resourcing Support – Kickstart Scheme
The purpose of the Resourcing Support role is to give a participant on the Kickstart scheme an opportunity to gain valuable insight and practical experience of working within the recruitment sector.
The role will work alongside a Recruitment Consultant or across a recruitment team to learn how to source high calibre candidates to fill current and future vacancies for our customer businesses. The Resourcing Support role will also present an opportunity, to learn how to support with administration relating to recruitment activity and compliance within the office environment.
Supported by a structured training plan which combines both on job and off job training, this position will give a Kickstarter an insight into identifying what a good CV looks like, how to understand a job description, how to conduct interviews effectively and the recruitment sales cycle. The knowledge and experience gained will support the application of how to write a good CV, what to do in preparation for interviews and how to interpret job descriptions, in order to source the right talent in the market place
This role offers an invaluable insight from the employer’s perspective, which can only be an advantage when conducting future personal job searches.
A major part of this role will be to learn how to search for candidates by making use of various on-line job boards and search techniques. Discovering how to accurately analyse CVs and job descriptions to identify key aspects of the candidate skills versus the job requirements, to make a great match.
Once candidates are identified, there is an opportunity to learn how to telephone screen and conduct a basic interview to understand further whether candidates might be suitable for any open vacancies.
Further job responsibilities will include how to accurately track information on our Candidate Management System, how to research customers for business development activity and how to share detailed feedback and information.
The Resourcing Support role must show a high level of professionalism and motivation, with good attention to detail and a customer first attitude.
