Job Title: Recruitment Consultancies Team Leader
Reporting to: Team Manager
Direct Reports: Sales and Senior Sales Executives,Account and Business Development Executives 
Location: Dragon Court,London 

Job Overview

  • The Sales Team Leader will ensure their team maximise revenue opportunities and meet and exceed sales activity in order to contribute to business growth.

  • The Sales Team Leader will support and develop their direct reports through performance monitoring,on the job training and development of new and existing team members and sharing of knowledge and expertise.

  • The Sales Team Leader will ensure sales revenue is maximised by selling our service offering to our clients,whilst ensuring individuals within their teams are also reaching their objectives.

What success will look like in 1 year 

  • Improved Sales DNA scores for all direct reports.

  • Increased employee engagement & improvement through effective use of Sales DNA

  • Improved customer and money retention from Recruitment Consultancy customers across your team.  (Account Management team).

  • Increased acquisition of new customers and content from the Recruitment Consultancy market across your team (Business Development team). 

Key Activities 

  • Providing coaching using Sales DNA to each co-member focussed on supporting the development of individuals linked to business wide objectives.

  • Contributing to personal and team revenue targets strategically by working with key clients and acquiring New Business (new business dependent on team).

  • Personal development of Sales Executives

  • Responsible for implementation of local strategies to ensure objectives are actioned and customer retention and acquisition targets are met.

  • To monitor the performance of team members against KPIs and other objectives,including identifying areas of improvement and recognising outstanding contributions.

  • Effectively communicating business objectives and strategies as instructed by the Sales Manager or senior management team. 

Key Measures and Targets 

  • Hitting and exceeding team & individual sales targets on a periodic & quarterly basis

  • Ensure the team deliver on all sales KPIs.

  • Increasing Sales DNA scores period on period.

  • Increasing the number of clients engage with,via returning business on AM teams and new business on BDT teams.

  • Increasing team retention rate (clients & staff). 

Capabilities and Competencies 

  • A passion for coaching and developing sales executives.

  • Previous sales experience and a strong track record of achieving revenue targets.

  • Demonstrable motivational and leadership skills.
