Job Overview

The Team Leader will be responsible for managing and coaching sales executives and business development executives ensuring they maximise new business revenue and activity targets.  The Team Leader will support and develop their direct reports through performance monitoring,on the job training and development of new and existing team members and sharing of knowledge and expertise.

Key Activities

  • Coaching and mentoring team members

  • Advising on team size and feeding into activity and financial targets

  • Reporting on offers and offering market insight

  • Hiring and retention of team

  • Managing high and under performers

  • Working to high professional standards and optimising all opportunities

  • Working effectively with systems and data

 

Key Measures and Targets

  • Revenue and client acquisition targets

  • Market visibility  and customer contact

  • Market penetration and contribution to the reed.co.uk client profile

Capabilities and Competencies

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Previous experience in call coaching and people management desirable

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills

  • Advanced telephone sales skills

  • Advanced negotiation skills
