That’s why Reed Specialist Recruitment is now offering full-time students from UK universities the chance to experience a 12 month work placement with us.
In addition to gaining valuable office-based work experience, you will receive industry-leading training at our Business School in the heart of the Cotswolds, listed as one of the most beautiful places to study in the world.
This is no ordinary proposition, as once you have successfully completed your placement year, you will receive a provisional job offer to come back and join REED once you have completed your degree.
Your career could start as a placement within one of our specialist recruitment offices as either a Resourcer or Account Executive.
Vacancies are located nationwide, and will be discussed as part of the application process. The more flexible you can be on location, the greater the opportunity of securing your placement.

Undergraduate Application Process:
Please note that applications for our July 2018 intake are now CLOSED. Applications for our July 2019 intake will open again in September 2018.
Stage 1: Online Application Form
You will be asked for your contact details, education history and eligibility to work in addition to 4 questions around your motivations and attributes in relation to the role.
Stage 2: Situational Judgement Test
You will complete an online SJT which is a realistic job preview of a Recruitment Consultant's job. It asks you to choose the most desirable response to each situation you are faced with. Sample tests are available here.
Stage 3: Telephone Interview
You will have a telephone conversation with a member of the Graduate Placement Year team to delve deeper into your motivation and suitability for a career with REED. Be prepared, as you will be expected to have researched the Recruitment Industry and REED, whilst also being able to clearly articulate why you are the best candidate for the role.
Stage 4: Telephone Role-Play
At this stage you will be required to play the role of a Resourcing Consultant from REED, calling a candidate (played by an assessor). You will be given a detailed brief which will explain what you need to achieve.
Stage 5: Interview(s)
Depending on your location and availability you will be required to attend at least one interview with a Business Manager and/or Area Manager to determine your suitability for their office. If successful, an offer will be made to you with an agreed start date (typically July/August).
